Terms of Service: The Deal for Using EmeraldChat
By using emeraldchat.vip you agree to these terms. They're written to be read: who can use the site, how to behave, how coins work and what happens if things go wrong.

1. Who can use EmeraldChat
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Don't use the service if you're under 18 or if you've been removed from it before.
2. Your account
You can try EmeraldChat without a sign-up form. If you create or secure an account, keep your login details safe and give us accurate information. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
3. How you agree to behave
You agree to follow the community guidelines: be respectful, no harassment, nothing explicit, no scams, no recording or sharing calls without permission, and nothing involving minors. We can restrict or remove accounts that break them.
4. Free features and coins
Starting is free: your first match, daily free matches and a free stretch at the start of each match. Longer video calls and gifts use coins. A notice appears before per-minute charging begins. Coins have no cash value and can't be transferred between accounts.
5. Payments and refunds
Prices and payment methods are shown at checkout before you pay. If coins didn't arrive after a successful payment, or you were charged in error, email support[at]emeraldchat.vip with the date, amount and payment reference and we'll look into it. Coins already spent on calls or gifts are generally not refundable. Where the law gives you refund rights, those rights still apply.
6. Moderation and enforcement
We can warn, restrict or remove accounts, and we may remove content, when we believe the rules were broken or when needed to protect people. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities. Unused coins on a removed account may be forfeited where the account was removed for breaking these terms.
7. Content and intellectual property
The site, its design and its text belong to us or our licensors. You keep ownership of what you say or show, but you give us the limited permission we need to operate the service, such as transmitting your video to your match.
8. The service is provided "as is"
We work to keep EmeraldChat running, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or that every person you meet will behave well. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for what other users say or do. Practical advice for staying safe is in help and safety.
9. Privacy
How we handle information is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Closing your account
You can stop using EmeraldChat at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing support[at]emeraldchat.vip. Deletion is permanent and removes unused coins.
11. Other people and other sites
You're responsible for your own conversations. If a call or message takes you to another site or app, that's outside our control and its own terms apply.
12. Gifts and virtual items
Gifts sent during calls are paid with coins, are optional, and are a courtesy between users. They have no cash value, and we can't reverse a gift once it has been sent unless it was sent in error through a technical fault.
13. Availability and changes to the service
We may change, pause or remove features, including free allowances and coin prices, to keep the service running or to meet legal requirements. Where a change affects coins you've already bought, we'll try to give notice on the site first.
14. Safety and cooperation
You agree not to interfere with the service, attempt to access other people's accounts, scrape the site or use automated tools to match. If someone tells us they're at risk of harm, we may share relevant information with the authorities. Advice on staying safe is in help and safety.
15. Disputes and changes
If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out. These terms are governed by the laws that apply where the operator is established, unless local consumer law says otherwise. We may update the terms and will change the date above when we do.
